Danger at the castle!

Julian and Ali have come in their Tardis to see us again 🙂

They like history, so we took them to see an old castle.

Spike and I enjoyed the walk there, but unfortunately Spike had a bit of an accident at the castle 😦

I scrambled down a big wall (easy peasy!), but when Spike tried to follow me, he slipped and fell and hurt his legs.

Well, there was a lot of squealing from poor old Spike.

Dad, Julian and Ali peered over the top of the wall and told him to “Stay!” (he was trying to get back to them), while Mum ran back and down the ramp to where we were.

I’ve never seen Mum run so fast!

I went to meet her around the corner of the wall and then took her back to where Spike was limping.

She looked at Spike’s legs, then walked him slowly to a nice place to sit in the sun.

Dad and Julian walked off without us, but I knew we needed to just settle quietly and wait patiently.

We rested for a long time.

Then – – – – – the men reappeared with the car, so Spike didn’t have to walk any further today.

Spike is a bit stiff, but he’s going to be fine.

I think he’s a bit too old for rock climbing and should leave that to Robert and me!

  1. Either you are getting better with your camera or he just isn’t moving as much / as fast as he used to!

  2. Or – – – I am very good at “Wait!” and “Stay!” now 😀
