What everyone was waiting for

I love the excitement of a ride in the car 🙂

It often means ending up somewhere I can run off the lead, explore, swim and play, so there’s a great deal of suspense, guessing and anticipation.

Yesterday, Mum and I went for a ride, and we ended up somewhere I couldn’t run off the lead, explore, swim or play.

I had no idea what was going on in this place, but there were lots of people and a few dogs standing around not going anywhere. The people seemed excited – in suspense – and the dogs had caught their anticipation and were guessing what might happen next. Everyone was looking down the road and holding cameras or noisy things.

I had to be very calm, sit nicely at heel and let children stroke me, but I managed to peer through the sea of legs and catch a glimpse of what everyone was waiting for.

  1. How exciting! 😀 I’m glad you managed to get a good view, in spite of the legs!

    • Thank you.
I’m still not sure why the man was running with the flame – it was far too hot to be needing to light a fire anywhere :/
Glad I was there though – there was a good feeling in the air 🙂
