Let loose at last!

I don’t know where to start – – –

I’m on holiday.

Our holiday house has big, empty fields behind it, which I’m allowed to run in, with fields either side full of sheep ๐Ÿ™‚
There’s another collie here who smells really, really, reallyย  nice ๐Ÿ˜€ though she’s not allowed out at the same time as me, for some reason ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Mum and Dad are staying in a room where Bonnie Prince Charlie once slept. I was expected to sleep in a kennel. I didn’t think much to that – I mean – shavings for a bed and bars? ย I made a bit of a fuss, which I kept up from the time they left me to go to the pub ’til when they got back. That did the trick nicely – I was given a bed in the car instead ๐Ÿ™‚

If ย being on holiday where I can run alongside a fence watching sheep isn’t wonderful enough, imagine my delight when I discovered the best was yet to come!

Today, they took me back to the farm where I was born.

At long last, the funny urges I’ve had inside me every time I’ve been near any sheep seemed to feel satisfied, when they finally let me loose to start behaving like a proper sheepdog ๐Ÿ˜€

  1. Enjoy the rest of your holiday Amos. When are we going to see you on TV on “one man and his dog”?

    • Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚
I think Mum’ll have to learn a lot more before we get to that stage ๐Ÿ˜‰
